Using Food to Fight Acne

Getting rid of acne isn't as easy as infomercials and product advertisements make it seem. Acne isn't just a skin problem; it actually starts from within the body. Causes of acne range from hormonal issues to eating a diet that is high in fat and grease.

Changing your eating habits may help you erase your acne without the consequences that harsh skin creams may cause.

Fiber is a major player in the game of acne. Many people do not get enough fiber in their diet and in turn notice that their skin is less than desirable. Foods such as breads, pastas and vegetables are great sources of fiber.

Some people may elect to use a fiber supplement as well. Eating a fiber rich diet will not only help clear up acne, but it will also keep you fuller, longer decreasing the chance of you eating high fat foods.
